Welcome to the home of Team Jamfund, car No.93, proudly taking part in the 2008 Scumball Rally.

Our trusty (leaky and slightly smelly) Mk3 Golf VR6 is a twice veteran of the infamous Nurburgring. This summer it is on its way yet again, in convoy with another 50 bangers, raising

money for good causes.

Please browse this site and learn a little more about our progress.

Jam Fund's main aim is to raise as much as possible to help children in Wales and throughout the UK who are suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses. In the charity's first twelve months, thanks entirely to the generosity of the public, it managed to raise £43,000. By May 2006 this stood at £47,500.

They have already donated £30,000 of this, between two charities  – LATCH (based at the children’s hospital for Wales) and CHILDREN WITH LEUKAEMIA (based at Great Ormond Street London).

In addition to this “The Jamie Adamson Caravan” was opened in March 2007. Jam Fund offer this facility free of charge to children in Wales and the UK who are suffering from ANY life threatening illness or condition and also to any family bereaved through the loss of a child.

There are lots of exciting fund raising plans for 2008. We are proud to be able to support this charity again with the Scumball Rally and hope you will join us.

The Scumball Rallies began in 2006 as a poor mans parody of the rather elitist Gumball Rallies and Cannonball Runs.

Cars on this event have to be worth less than £1000 and be the sort of sporty motors that we perhaps once lusted over as teenagers but are now cheap, rusty and unreliable. Last year saw a motley collection of tired old Porsches, BMWs and other hot hatches taking on the challenge.

The Scumball Rally starts with a few laps of Donington circuit in the East Midlands before making the haul down to Dover and across the continent to the infamous Nurburgring in Germany.
